Uplifting Black voices is extremely important to us.

Every quarter, we seek out a pro bono content consulting project for a Black-owned business or nonprofit. If this is you, please get in touch.

HEROES is a nonprofit organization in rural Louisiana providing free education and resources for Black residents who have been impacted by HIV. (More than 60% of all HIV cases in the United States are in the Deep South, and that percentage disproportionately affects Black communities.) For this pro bono project, we drafted all the copy for the new HEROES website, helped HEROES founder Monica Johnson with media training, wrote run-of-shows for her Instagram Lives, and were instrumental in securing her a feature in People Magazine's 2022 Women Changing the World issue.

New York City-based nonprofit Statement Junky is on a mission to gift young women of color with an essential key to accessing the world—their first passports. Their vision is that Black and brown girls will reach beyond the borders of their communities to see (and change!) the world. Working closely with founder Rachel Paling, we completed several grant applications so that Statement Junky could secure crucial funding and reach more girls across the tri-state area.
