Education Advocates of America

Making the special education system feel a little less overwhelming for the parents navigating it.

The brief

Education Advocates of America matches parents with special education advocates. If you’ve ever had to navigate the special education system for your child, you know how overwhelming it can feel, and a lot of parents don’t even know advocates exist.

The results

Parents can now see how advocacy works, meet the people behind it and get answers before they ever pick up the phone, and a new blog helps more families find EAA when they need it most.

The challenge

The biggest hurdle wasn’t competition. It was awareness. Many parents had no idea special education advocates existed, let alone what one could do for their child.

Everything on the site had to work for parents who are stressed, short on time and often already overwhelmed by evaluations and IEP meetings.

Our approach

Our biggest job was explaining how it all works. We needed to show parents how an advocate can help their child get the services they need, and also make sure the school district is doing what it’s supposed to be doing.

Then we focused on trust, so parents could get a feel for the people they’d be working with before they ever picked up the phone.

What we built

  • A clear mission statement

  • A Meet the Team page

  • An FAQ that answers the questions parents are too stressed to ask

  • A blog to help with SEO, so more families can find them when they need them most
